Propstore’s major Music Live Auction features over 400 lots of instruments, lyrics, clothing, and more music memorabilia. Musicians like Slash, John Lennon, Queen, David Bowie, Oasis, Notorious B.I.G., and Amy Winehouse are represented in the auction on April 30, 2026.

One of the auction’s high notes is Slash’s photo-matched, stage-used, and autographed Gibson Les Paul 1959 Custom Shop guitar. It was used during the Guns N’ Roses Not in this Lifetime tour, which was the first reunion with Slash, Axl Rose, and Duff McKagen since 1993.

Another important piece is George Michael’s photo-matched jacket that he wore during the “Faith” music video in 1987 and during live performances on the tour. It was matched to photos taken by Chris Cuffaro during that period and ones taken by Michael Putland backstage during the tour.

One of the most significant lots is a promotional poster for John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Double Fantasy, signed on the morning of Lennon’s death. Thought to be the last item he ever signed, the poster comes with an audio recording of Lennon talking about the signing and retracing his signature.

A Shure 565 SD award gold microphone given to Queen and used by Freddie Mercury is also offered. The microphone comes from Peter Hince, who was Queen’s head roadie and Mercury’s personal assistant on tour.

More highlights are Paul McCartney’s handwritten “Goodbye” first draft lyrics, David Bowie’s Aladdin Sane concept cover proof print, and Jimi Hendrix, Noel Redding, and Mitch Mitchell signed “51st Anniversary” handwritten lyrics.

The auction also includes Nikki Sixx’s (Motley Crue) photo-matched autograph and inscribed stage-used Schecter J-4 bass guitar, Notorious B.I.G.’s custom leather jacket worn in the Rhyme & Reason documentary, and Amy Winehouse’s photo-matched Fred Perry cropped trench coat.

Propstore will host a free exhibition at the Cumberland Hotel in London on April 22-25. The auction on April 30 will include online, telephone, and absentee bidding.

“Propstore’s upcoming Music Live Auction brings together some of the most influential names in popular music, from legends such as The Beatles, Queen, George Michael and Jimi Hendrix to modern global stars including Ed Sheeran and Little Mix,” Propstore’s Music Specialist Mark Hochman said. “Featuring stage-used instruments, handwritten lyrics and iconic performance-worn pieces – including over 60 items from the personal collection of Queen head roadie Peter Hince – the sale spans genres, generations and defining cultural moments. Each lot offers collectors a tangible connection to the artists and performances that helped shape the soundtrack of our lives.”
