Garth Ennis, Jae Lee, More Added to Baltimore Comic-Con
Baltimore Comic-Con will hold their next show on September 25-27, 2026, once again at the Baltimore Convention Center. They have announced that Garth Ennis, Torunn Grønbekk, Tony Harris, Jae Lee, Mark Schultz, and Gus Vazquez have been added to the steadily growing guest list.
Ennis has been working in comics since the early 1990s when he began writing Hellblazer. Following a four-year run on the title, he created Preacher, which ran for 66 issues from ’95 to 2000, and had long runs on The Demon and Hitman. Most recently, Ennis co-created The Boys, which ran for 72 issues and was adapted into a popular TV series.
Grønbekk is a writer and portrait painter known for her work at Dynamite and Marvel on Red Sonja, Thor, The Punisher: War Journal, Valkyrie, and Venom. She has recently worked on Realm of X, Venom, and Carnage.

Harris is a comic artist, commercial illustrator, sculptor, designer, and prop builder who has worked with DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Disney, Lucasfilm, Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox, New Line Cinema, Hasbro, and many other companies. He has worked on properties such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Iron Man, Spider-Man, X-Men, Avengers, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Aliens, Predator, and more.
Lee is a comic artist who became one of the youngest artists to work for a major publisher. He won an Eisner for The Inhumans, co-created The Sentry, and worked on Stephen King’s Dark Tower and Batman/Superman. His work has also appeared in Fantastic Four: 1234, Transformers/G.I. Joe, The Gunslinger Born, and Before Watchmen.
Schultz began his comics career with art in Xenozoic Tales, he has created illustrations for Robert E. Howard’s Conan stories, and scripted Superman for four years. He created SubHuman, wrote and illustrated the novella Storms at Sea, and he is currently writing the Prince Valiant comic strip. He is working on a new Xenozoic graphic novel and a sequel to Storms at Sea.

Vazquez is an illustrator who has worked in comics, trading cards, storyboarding for music videos, commercials, animation and film, toy design, and more. His work in comics began on X-Force and Trinity Angels, and did covers and interiors for Sunfire and Big Hero 6. He has worked on Marvel books like Deadpool, X-Force, Spider-Man, and What If? Civil War, and DC titles like Green Lantern, JLA, and Blue Beetle. He was the first artist on The Amory Wars, worked on The O.C.T., La Borinqueña, and his creator-owned book, Fang.
“The Baltimore Comic-Con brings in some of the biggest names in comics,” Baltimore Comic-Con show promoter Marc Nathan said. “This week’s talent includes some absolute titans of the industry who have worked on enormous properties, many of which have been adapted to the screen as well. You can find them all this fall in Baltimore!”
