The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko Artist’s Edition presents an inside look at the career of Spider-Man’s co-creator. Skybound and Image Comics in partnership with Scott Dunbier’s Act 4 Publishing have provided a preview of the book, which is scheduled to arrive in comic shops in June 2026.

The book is filled with some of Ditko’s most significant work including the debut of Spider-Man in Amazing Fantasy #15, and the complete stories in The Amazing Spider-Man #20, #26, and #33. Splash pages, story pages, covers, and more fill the book, which was all scanned from the original art. There’s a selection of photocopies of Ditko’s pencil art from Amazing Spider-Man #31 that is presented side by side with the published inked pages, plus art from over 20 other issues.

The book was scanned in color to show ink gradients, blue pencil, and other aspects of the art. The artist’s edition is printed in a large size that measures 15” x 22”.

The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko Artist’s Edition arrives in stores on June 24. The next volume in the series, Doctor Strange by Paul Smith Artist’s Edition, will also arrive in 2026.
