ComicConnect’s Event Auction 65 features original comic art, rare memorabilia, and vintage comics from the Golden to Bronze Age and beyond. The auction is entering its final days with sessions closing on March 15-19, 2026.

The auction contains rare high grade books from the Eric Groves Collection, including Detective Comics #1 8.5, Action Comics #10 8.0 with Joe Shuster’s third Superman cover, Amazing Fantasy #15, Flash Comics #1, Plastic Man’s debut in Police Comics #1 9.0, Alex Schomburg covers, and issues of Captain America Comics.

Golden Age keys like Marvel Comics #1, Wonder Woman #1 7.5, Action Comics #18 9.0, a scarce Red Raven Comics #1 8.0, Mickey Mouse’s comics debut in Four Color #16 7.5, and first appearances in Mystery Men Comics #1 and Ace Comics #1 are in the auction.

More comic highlights are Zip Comics #1 9.4 with the beginning of Steel Sterling and other pioneering heroes Action Comics #13 with Joe Shuster’s train cover, Fantastic Four #1 9.2, and Amazing Fantasy #15.

Event Auction 65’s original art offerings includes Jack Kirby pages from X-Men #5 and #11, and Incredible Hulk #3, Neal Adams’ cover for Justice League of America #96, George Pérez’s title splash for Avengers #149, a Tony Moore page from The Walking Dead #1, and Charlie Adlard pages for one of The Walking Dead’s shocking scenes, plus works by Alex Toth, Mike Sekowsky, Frank Frazetta, Rob Liefeld, and others.
