The Baltimore Comic-Con will return to the Baltimore Convention Center on September 25-27, 2026. The show has recently added Howard Chaykin, Steve Conley, Amanda Conner, Pop Mhan, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Brian Stelfreeze to the guest list.

As a writer and artist, Chaykin is considered one of the architects of modern comics, known for creating the sci-fi political satire, American Flagg!. His credits include Micronauts, Star Wars, Weird War Tales, Blade, and Punisher War Journal, among many others. Chaykin’s Hey Kids! Comics! presents a fictional history of the comics industry, and his The Divided States of Hysteria is about a near-future America dealing with violence and political extremism.

Conley is the writer and artist of the webcomic The Middle Age. He has provided art and covers for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Adventure Time, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek: Year Four, and Michael Chabon’s Escapist. He is the cohost of the weekly Pencil to Pencil comics livestream.

Conner’s comics career began with art in Marvel’s Barbie line and Disney’s Gargoyles comics, which led to work on X-Men, Vampirella, and her creator-owned one-shot, The Pro. Her art has appeared in Supergirl, Painkiller Jane, Wonder Woman, Power Girl, and Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre. She co-wrote the highly successful Harley Quinn series with her husband, Jimmy Palmiotti, and wrote her creator owned series BOOM-POW for their company, Paperfilms.

Mhan joined comics at Wildstorm Productions, and since then, he has worked with Marvel, DC, Top Cow, Dark Horse Comics, and TokyoPop. His recent work has been at DC, penciling licensed properties like Gears of War 3 and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and Marvel on All-New X-Factor, and variant covers for Amazing Spider-Man.

In addition to his body of work in comics, Palmiotti has worked in advertising, screenwriting, film production, video game development, and more. He co-founded Event Comics, Black Bull Media, and the Marvel Knights imprint, acting as a supervisor on Black Panther, Daredevil, and other film and TV projects. At DC, he wrote Jonah Hex, Power Girl, Batman, Superman, and co-wrote Harley Quinn with his wife, Amanda Conner. He co-owns Paperfilms, which creates titles in a wide range of genres, and is currently writing the monthly series, Deadly Tales of the Gunslinger for Todd McFarlane.

Stelfreeze, one of the original Gaijin Studios members, is a multi-talented artist, with experience and credits penciling, inking, coloring, painting, and even writing. His comic book covers have gained him much attention, and his run painting covers on DC’s Shadow of the Bat for over 50 issues is noteworthy by itself. Stelfreeze’s creative output can be found on BOOM! Studios’ Day Men and The Signature Art of Brian Stelfreeze, and Marvel Comics’ Black Panther.

“These guests have constant crowds,” Baltimore Comic-Con show promoter Marc Nathan said. “Their respective bodies of work are nothing short of spectacular, from seminal titles to cutting edge work and enormous properties. Their fans love them and you will too!”
