In their current Tuesday, November 24, 2015 auction, eMoviePoster.com is selling 500 inserts and 499 half-sheets. Over half of the offerings are vintage pieces from the 1930s to 1950s. You can review these auction items at http://www.emovieposter.com.
Half-sheets include Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957) with art of Pamela Duncan being attacked, Reptilicus (1962) showing the 50 million year-old giant lizard, Adventures of Ichabod and Mister Toad (1949) style B with Bing and Walt waking Sleepy Hollow, Body Snatcher (1945) with art of Boris Karloff, From Here to Eternity for the 1958 rerelease, Viking Women and the Sea Serpent (1958) with Reynold Brown art of female warriors, and To Have and Have Not for the 1952 rerelease starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.
Other half-sheets are The Way We Were (1973) showing Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford walking on the beach, Ride’Em Cowboy for the 1949 rerelease with Abbott and Costello, Pure Hell of St. Trinian’s (1961) for the wacky English comedy, Lost in Alaska (1952) style A showing Abbott and Costello falling on the ice, Dead End for the 1954 rerelease depicting Humphrey Bogart, Rear Window for the 1962 rerelease of the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Two-Lane Blacktop (1971) with James Taylor, Warren Oates, and Laurie Bird, and Red Canyon (1949) style B featuring Zane Grey and Ann Blyth with wild mustangs.
Inserts are White Christmas (1954) depicting Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kaye, and Vera-Ellen, Love Me Tender (1956) featuring two images of Elvis Presley, Diamonds Are Forever (1971) with art of 007 by Robert McGinnis, Under California Stars (1948) with images of Roy Rogers ad Trigger, Bus Stop (1956) featuring a full-length image of Marilyn Monroe, Curucu, Beast of the Amazon (1956) for the Universal horror hit with art by Reynold Brown, The Sound of Music (1965) depicting Julie Andrews in the classic film, Let’s Make Love (1960) displaying Marilyn Monroe and Yves Montand, and Return of the Jedi (1983) featuring art of hands holding a lightsaber by Tim Reamer.
