2026 Eisner Awards Nominees Announced

Comic-Con International has announced the 2026 nominations for the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards. Nominees were chosen for 32 categories, with around 75 publishers represented. The Eisner Awards will be presented at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront Hotel during Comic-Con on July 24, 2026.

DC led the publishers with 16 nominations (plus 10 shared), Fantagraphics got 14 nominations, Image Comics received 12 (plus 9 shared), Abrams imprints had 9 nominations, Drawn & Quarterly got 6, Random House got 5, Dark Horse earned 4 (plus 4 shared), and Marvel got 3 (plus 5 shared).

Some of the works that received the most nominations included Absolute Martian Manhunter, Absolute Batman, Assorted Crisis Events, Department of Truth, Drome, and A Garden of Spheres. Deniz Camp led the creators list with 5 nominations, followed by James Tynion IV with 4 nominations. Juni Ba, Javier Rodriguez, Jesse Lonergan, Linnea Sterte, Kelly Thompson, and Eric Zawadski all received 3 nominations.
